Hi All,
I feel like a dummy, but I am having trouble removing the ambi safety on my new Specialist. The levers stand a bit proud of the beavertail and I need to blend it down.
I know that removing a safety for the first time can be a bit of a hassle but I was monkeying on it for about 30 min last night and I am wondering if I am doing something stupid (probably).
Starting wiith the hammer cocked, flipping the safety on then pulling outward on the left side while giggling safety midway between on and off. I've tried putting little plastic shim and pry sticks between the frame and the safety whilst giggling but nothing is budging.
And thoughts/insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
