Just got my ECO 45 the other day and field stripped it for an initial inspection and lubrication.
I scratched the portion of the bushing surrounding the recoil spring plug using the paperclip method suggested in the manual.
The scratching is incredibly hard to see and absolutely tiny, but since I was the one who made the mistake it sticks out to me like a sore thumb on my beautiful new gun.
Anyone happen to know if this is part of the slide or an individual part that could be replaced sometime down the road by DW? It does not look like it's the same part as the slide, so I'm hoping it's an inexpensive replacement part I can order and install.
