I was in my favorite local shop, a guy was talking about wanting a .45 for carry, and I pointed out the CBOB to him (in addition to the new one there was a used one for $749). He said he had been looking at a Kimber SIS, and a couple of others. He was amazed that from every corner of the place guys were saying "just buy the Dan Wesson, it's every bit as good as anything you'll find, and lots less money". Counter guys, customers, the owner, etc. My CBOB is definitely happening in the future (near future, I hope).

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

None of the shops around me stock Dan Wesson 1911's and I can't understand why. All the things I read about them are great and when someone does have an issue there customer services gets great remarks.
I'm looking forward to trying mine out!

I ended up with a very early PT-CBOB (Pre-CZ). Apparently they used the same slides that were on the PT-C. After seeing a picture of the PT-C I would like to have one of those as well!
