I'm going to be selling this in fact I have it up for sale on Guns International and a buyer asked me about getting extra magazines for it and I know nothing about the 1911's. Is this just replaced by one of the 1911 maga on CZ-USA web site or is there very common or is there a specific mag that was used for the early Pointman? Here are some pics of the gun with the mag that came with the gun? Thanks for the help 'i think i'm going to buy the 2018 1911 on guns.com tonight and so I can let this one go maybe $1200 0r? Their are 3 different 45acp mags on Dan Wesson web site also!IMG_8020.JPGImage Enlarger

1911 mags are universal in fit, round count differs, follower/tube design differs, caliber differs but they all should work but you have
to have the caliber that matches the gun.

As the others stated, any good quality 1911 magazine in .45ACP is sufficient.  I stress "good quality" because these guns deserve nothing less.  It doesn't need to be a Dan Wesson magazine either - I like Mec-Gar magazines myself.  They are OEM to many firearm manufacturers, they've been around for a very long time, and they have the experience and history to make good magazines.  The originals in these Mitchell 1911's are branded "Mitchell Arms" under the slam pad, but it's irrelevant.

Competition or Full-Size 8 rd.
