EXACTLY the right way to do this, and it will never happen in all the places it is most desperately needed.
Training and simulation specific to the school environment, and making no secret that armed security is on premises.
I don't perceive that a small community in Arkansas is a high profile target, any more than a quiet, suburban community in southern Connecticut...
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I'm surprised the subject got a neutral report from a lefty rag like Huffington.
That alone is quite a feat these days. I agree that arming teachers is the right way to handle this, I'm glad to hear that common sense prevails in Clarksville!
