Well, I rooting in the dusty vault again. I found this Gun World magazine featuring the DW .445 SM. Its a good read. Sept. 1988. 

    FYI,   NASA resumed the Space Shuttle program during September of 1988, with the launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery on the STS-26 mission. The program had been halted after the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster for about two and a half years.

    I wonder if Dan Wesson was actually a NASA Engineer too! The previous DW  1969 article was published the same yr./month that Neal Armstrong walked on the moon.
