HI All, 

I started this topic to make sure the forum doesn't have an unknown security issue. As some of you may have noticed, I dropped off the map about two years ago (more on that at end of this post). However, it's been a while so I will not be insulted if you don't remember me. Err, well, I may be insulted if at least ONE of you does not remember me... 

I ASSUME that I was invited to be able to join the Range Officers usergroup. My guess is I was invited before I dropped off the map. I looked at the Contacts Topic under the DWF Staff Lounge and I did interact somewhat heavily with all the people listed under that topic, including selling/buying with a few. Don't worry, I didn't save/print/memorize/etc any of that info.

If somebody DID NOT invite me to joing the Range Officers group, you may have a fairly big security hole (e.g. like the Staff Contacts Info topic) and a bunch of lurkers out there in the Range Officers usergroup. 

Personally, I think I could be of help as a 'Basic Member' (I haven't yet re-upped my support level since getting back on the forum in the last week). Browsing the Signature Issue Topic gave me that idea. Hopefully, it's not purely an 'id' thing. Anyways, the 'chain saw woes' topic looked wayyy to interesting for me pass up (Get a Stihl guys, not an issue over 10 years), So I'd like to stay in the group. I am Long on time and Short on cash, so i will be on DWF again regularly.

What happened in last 3 years in one long run on sentence (or why I am not re-upping to Supporter until December) is: 
Disability; Failed Business after 15 years; Divorce after 40 years marriage; Had to sell the house I was going retire in (with my own sweet little 66 yard range); and still stuck in the Disability process after 3 years, with another year+ to go.... Jeez, now I know what it must feel like to jump out of a plane and build a parachute from your clothes on the way down. Hope none of you guys have to go through that. Imagine having to to be able to just save only ONE DW firearm. Hah, at least I've reached the point, DW and the house are more of a loss than the rest.

So let ke know if you want me to stay in the Range Officers group and I'll add my contact info. Not asking for mod, etc, already committed to that on another board.

p.s. I just did a test, replied to a new member in the New Members Introduction topic, and I do not show as a Range Officer, if that is any help in debugging
