I just bought a Model 15 chambered in .357MAG. Would it be possible to take a barrel from a Model 14 (also .357MAG) and put it on a Model 15? New to the DWA community so don't shark attack me, lol.

Uh, is it a model 15,15-1,or 15-2. The first 2 are what are called porkchops because the shroud looks like a porkchop bone. The later - 2 are much more common. The barrels of each are the same but the 14 front sights on the shroud are lower, hence they will shoot too high for the adjustable 15 to compensate. The 15 and 15-1 barrels are 1/4" shorter than the 15-2.
 EWK who has a link on the forum may have replacement front sights for a 14 Shroud.ÂÂ

There is also an adapter available, to allow incompatible frame/shroud combinations to work.

That’s a Model 15-2.  The EWK conversion sights will let you put 15-2 barrel shrouds onto Model 14-2 frames but not the other way around.

eBay is the best source for Dan Wesson barrels.  Sometimes Gun Broker has them.
