Hi gang,
I haven't posted in a couple years..... Been otherwise occupied.
I'm wondering how I can adjust the "trigger stop" screw on my model 40 Supermag. I really don't wanna take it down
too far,.......'cause it's Beautiful!! But I think I'll shoot better with less overtravel.Â
I've even thought of cutting a slot in it from the inside of trigger guard.
Any thoughts?

You could maybe turn it with needle nose pliers. A thin rubber hose on each jaw of the pliers will help against gouging the screw. I haven't adjusted that screw on my guns, so I'm not sure how tight it is.

Once you strip it down, just put the screw in backwards. Then you can adjust at the shooting bench, using an allen wrench...
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
