Have a 44 Mag barrel and measured the thread, came up with an 11/16-40 UNS, is this correct?

 

Waiting for my small frame to arrive, so have not had an opportunity to measure and guess the thread.

 

Any help on both would be appreciated.

 

Looking to make a "fixture" to hold the barrel/shroud assembly and clean it from the rear, mounted outside of the frame.

Figure if I add a taper or counter-bore on the entry end, it will allow for a good job of cleaning the barrel and not worry about doing anything bad to the barrel crown.
