Should I stay away from a 375 Supermag? With no ammo available should I invest in other models? Re-post with pics!

So i'm re-posting this with pics to get advice. I have paid for this gun $1575 shipped 375 Supermag Monson 8 inch slotted barrel NIB. Having second thoughts because of lack of ammo availability. I can add $800 and instead get a 357 Maximum Monsun NIB W/10 inch VH Barrel,. Should I stick with the first gun or go ahead and get the second? I do not plan on shooting either gun but worry about the collectible value of the 375 Supermag and thinking it would be a better move to buy the other gun for the long run collectible value? If I’m reading this right he wants 2375.00 for a NIB 357 Max, that’s a pretty steep price.

True bit it does have a 10 inch HV Barrel and you hardly ever see them.
