DWF Guys,

I'm relatively new to DWF and wheel guns in general. I purchased a model 15 a couple of months ago with the idea of using it for deer hunting in Ohio, and per your advice, I have another barrel, shroud, and barrel nut on the way. Both barrels are 6". One of the shrouds is vented, the other is not. So, what do you recommend as an approach to mounting a scope. I plan to mount a Leuopold M8 2X pistol scope on this baby. Thanks for your recommendations.

Cheers,

Roger Barker

I think I have some extra B-squares if you are interested. They are ugly, but they work well.

Hello Shootist357,

Yes, I'm interested. Is there a picture of one here somewhere? I sent you a PM.

Thanks,

Roger

Sorry for the late reply, no internet at new house yet. I'll dig one up and send a pic.

This should get you started

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Hi Steve,

Thanks. So, it looks like there's only one clamp on type mount available, the B-Square.

Right?

Burris is clamp on also, much less readily available. BSquare is more current production and many more available. I went with the BSquare until I found a Burris, but at over twice the price and lot's more looking/shopping.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the clarification. Have any hints as to where to buy the Burris? I tried a google search.

Thanks again,

Roger
