My ported 44mag shooting jacketed 240gr. After only 18 shots hard to get shroud off. Behind ports there is a line of what looks like melted brass trying to weld barrel to shroud . Any suggestionsÂ

Dont shoot the Power Control barrels, they will do exactly what you are experiencing.  The compensated shrouds were a much better idea. Â
