 Today DWA model 14 (s/n34xx) was returned to me after 4 years. In
October 2008 my house was broken into 34xx was stolen. It had been in
police custody since 2009 was found on a drug dealer, since in was not used
in a crime it was return to me .
 That makes me a porkchop
owner again. Good thing I did not get rid of the extra short shroud/barrel assy.
 A good cleaning and a trip to the gun range are in order.

Hey thats cool that you ended up getting it back. Most stories don't
end so well. Agreed it sucks it took so long but this is one of those
few times better late than never. Congrats

Now go get a cheap safe and bolt the heck out of it to the floor
and wall studs !

Thanks for the kind words. Every time I heard of a armed robbery I wondered
 if my DW was being used. I do have a safe( two) it was my home defense
 weapon so I left it in the night stand(no longer) as I was not able to have a
firearm on that trip. Now the only firearm not in the safe is my ccw.
