Greetings. I am new to this forum and only have a few Dan Wesson 15's. I recently saw a stainless Dan Wesson .22 with 10 inch barrel with IHMSA rams on each side of the barrel. The gun store owner said he'd let it go for $425. It was in excellent condition. Since I have never seen one of these before I was wondering if I can get some input about this gun and if that price is high,low, or average. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a 
price to me if its a good condition 722 IMHSA gun. Otheres will fill in the IMHSA background, I'm not well versed in that sport.

I have 722VH8 and it shoots excellent. I paid more for it and it's not an IHMSA model.
Support your local IHMSA range.

This is a good buy, these are 22 Silhoutte guns most are single action I have 2 of them blued and stainless and they are very good shooters. Buy it, Buy it, Buy it!!!!! If I didn't already have 2 I would ask where it is.

I think that is a very good price, you rarely see any DW .22's at $425, that one is a little less common
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I would still hagle the seller $400 out the door but I would not leave without
it either and I don't even like .22's .

I'm with these guys, that's a good deal!
I don't know about your shooting style, but keep in mind that this gun will not shoot DA, it's SA only. That can be a turn-off for some folks.

Well, the peer pressure got to me and I went and bought it. It's a hefty gun but looks like it will be fun to shoot. When I get some time I will post a photo. Thanks for all of the input.

Still working on getting a photo up but I got to shoot it for the first time on Saturday. Fired about 100 rounds through it and it was great. Functioned flawlessly, was accurate after a little adjusting, and was a blast to shoot. I'm very happy I didn't pass it up.
