I know that I'm gonna put one of them RH barrel assemblies for the Blued 44 DW.
Now I'm noticing that Erik's got assemblies for the Blued 44, 10" to 15" complete.
Then there are 8" shrouds blued with no barrel. But there are no 8" blued 44 barrels listed. Just stainless?
So how big a difference is going 10" instead of 8".

I'm partial to 4", myself. But if you have time to put it on a rest- I guess it's just personal preference. At Eric's price you can afford to try both and sell the one you don't want to keep.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

A 4" 44 w/ factory loads must be the equivalent of a snubbie 357. 
I'ma thinkin of Deer and such.

I'm having some trouble seeing a .44 Mag in 4" being equivalent to a .357 Mag in snub nose???
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I have a 4 inch 44 mag and it is more of a flame thrower than any 357. I have. It is a lot of fun to shoot though.

Said it before, I'll say it again:
If I could have found a 4VH for my 744 at anything approaching a reasonable cost, I'd still have a 744.
