Yes, nice pics, I think that new EWK shroud really looks good with the unfluted cylinder, like they belong together

Cool indeed!  I may need to get into one of these also, sometime when they are ready.

Thats just downright cool ... if you ever end up making other variations on it I'm thinking a 4" barrel with this style comp would be way cool ... but then I'd have to go hunt down a 15 frame :p

Thanks guys!

Now offering these with the option of a comp built in is an idea! More of along the lines of the DW style would be easier for me...hmm...may have to try this and see what it looks like! Laugh

I'm really excited for these. I've been hoping against hope someone would make a fat slab shroud for the Dans again like the Action Cup's. I'm going to attempt to buy one of the next batch as well.  I'd personally like an additional lower lug though, myself.

Also, very jealous of the unfluted cylinder wdelack. 😀

What about also incorporating a weaver rail on the shroud?

Good idea? Bad idea?

You mean as a scope mount? I'd buy one.  I'd also buy a short shroud with a rail on bottom for a light.  Would be nice for those of us who aspire to carry wheelguns in our cars.

Weaver/picatinny rail(s) built into the shroud are one of the things that are at the top of "the list"! I'm not sure to start with the extra heavy shrouds, or a regular style shroud to base the rail on, eventually would like to offer them in both of them. As I kind of think it would be at home on both. Laugh

If you're talking scope rails i'd put 'em on the heavy shrouds.  Just seems like it would make sense if they shrouds are meant for target shooting and hunting.  Tac light rails would be nice for 4 inch standard thickness/weight shrouds, otherwise the added bulk would ruin them for carry use.  Thats my two cents.  The more options you have the more people will buy them I suppose.
