OfflineI have a chance to pickup a DW in .44 mag for a good price. One thing that's important to me for the purpose I have in mind for this gun is knowing if a scope can be mounted without spending a king's ransom or ruining the gun's resale value? It's a Monson-made gun.

OfflineGet a set of B-square mounts, they don't require any drilling, and clamp to the vent rib. Run about 50-75 bucks a set, watch ebay and gunbroker. Scopes range in price from cheap to expensive, pick one to fit your budget. Make sure to get a long eye relief scope so that you can hold the 44 at arms length and see clearly thru the optic. Its a good idea to get a scope that can stand up to the recoil of a 44 mag so spend a few bucks more and get a decent scope.
