Need some help to identify a DW 357. Not sure on the model or age. It says Dan Wesson 357 CTG. SN starts with SD. Vent rib stainless.

It is either a 715-V or 715-VH. If it has a full lower rib under barrel it is a VH.

"SD" isn't real specific, sometime between 1982 and 1987, better info available with more digits.
Also, to be exactly correct, it is a Model 715, the barrel style or length do not identify the model.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

The DW does have the full lug under the barrel. SN- SD0056xx

I can purchase this DW. Not sure on the value? It does have the original styrofoam box. Not sure if its a fixed barrel or not.
