of course most of the time I am usually confusesed. I was browsing through gunbroker and I ran across this Dan Wesson barrel with a scope mount and rings I hadn't seen before. Perhaps someone here could clarify the make of the rings attached to this shroud. Here is the link

I had a set of those scope mounts some time back.  They clamp on the vents as you can see in the pictures.  They are okay as no modification to the shroud is necessary.  They do require some fiddling with so the rear mount doesn't rest on the frame of the gun, sit up too high and cause problems with the vertical scope adjustment.  Brain-fart - I don't recall the brand.

So am I to understand there is more than one type of B-Square mount ?  I just bought a different B-Square mount from shootist357 and it looks nothing like that one. However I am new to this forum and enjoy learning and this forum is a wonderful place and the people here are just of the finest of people, I am on the learning side and not the teacher side so I really like it here.

yes, that is also a B-square mount.  it is the older style, they slip compared to the long rail ones.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
