EWK lists an adapter for a small frame muzzle that has a 1/2 x 28 thread.  What's out there in the wide world with a 1/2 x 28 tread that I might want to hang on my small frame DW?  Doesn't seem like it would be a brake since EWK sells a brake for the DW barrel thread.

A suppressor for pistol calibers is typically why you might want that adapter. In fact, I might want it!

Suppressors aren't very affective on revolvers...

Someone may have a different brake/ compensator they want to screw on?

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Well, DUH, I wasn't even thinking about all that gas & noise that escapes long before it will ever get to the suppressor, LOL.

The good news is a DW cylinder gap can be tightened to a very small gap. You may only get a couple of rounds before the cylinder binds but it may cut down on the blast. A suppressor may work for one or two shots.

I am extremely interested in how your suppressor works on your DW.  I presume it's a 22?

You always hear that a suppressor is of no use on a revolver, but you never hear any actual facts.  How much noise does the gap actually contribute?  I'm not expecting something out of a James Bond movie, but it might help protect hearing.

I've seen a picture of a tunnel rat in 'Nam with a can on what looks like a S&W model 10.

I have a 22 suppressor waiting for a tax stamp.  Planned on putting it on a Buckmark.

It's not as quiet as my 22 rifle, but it's definitely quieter esp. when I use the CCI sub velocity ammo.I do reduce the forcing cone gap,I turn the barrel until the cylinder won't turn, then back off the barrel about a 1/4 of a turn.In a low light setting, you can see the gas flash from the gap.
