I’ve not heard of this person before, and don’t want to do business with him if he’s not qualified to work on our precious Dan’s.

Mike Hefron has been around for years.  He closed for a bit and then reopened in 2015 ish?  He had a run of a couple of years where he was battling heart and cancer issues and his business tanked.  I'm certain he knows what he's doing after 30 years of smithing but I haven't used him.  I tend to fix things myself though because I'm a tinkerer...
