At a local gun show a couple months ago came across a 2.5″ 22 mag. When I tried to cock it single action it would not hold so I passed on it. Later a couple folks mentioned it might be a too long grip screw.
Today I go to the gun show and the same guy with the same gun is there so I took a chance and bought it. Turns out it was the grip screw. I cut a couple threads of the screw and it works great. So, I now own my first DW. Paid $350.
