Does anyone have any hints or suggestion on replacing a piston spring on a 15-1? The replacement spring I have is so long that I suspect it is supposed to set over and around the nubs on the back of the piston and the nub on the bottom of the crane.  I can't figure out a way to do this without deforming the spring itself.

The spring that was originally in the pistol was mangled and useless, but it was slightly larger and went around the nubs, tightly and I am assuming from the factory.

Thanks,

Ray
