What differences would I see in an established load going from a SPP to a Magnum SP?

If you're well under max pressure, then it will be similar to your current POI.  If you have multiple loads already worked up- use the one with the slowest powder.  I'm assuming this is for anything but Bullseye?  During my primer crunch, I even used rifle primers...

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Yes very low pressure!! For my 52-2, I'm well  under the recommended loads. I want Fed match primers for competition but buying online with Hazmat and shipping it makes the price ludicrous per 1000. The local LGS has the Fed match but in magnum form. Thanks Ron I will give it a try!!

Thanks! Very informative. I guess light strikes will be my only consideration with the Magnums.
