Wisdom is merely the realization of how little one knows, therefore I am wise.

OfflineI would say if you have nice wooden grips and want to preserve them, buy some pachmayr grips when you shoot. I try to keep my factory zebra, walnut and L.B. grips pristine by changing them to the pachmayr grips when I go shooting. Otherwise you can ding them and scratch them up on recoil or laying them down when you go shooting. All you need is one grip in the small frame and one in the large. Then swap them out as needed at the range.
