OfflineLooking to shoot 200 grain bullets out of my 357 SM . Selections could be jacketed or they could be cast .
Iâm looking for geometry where I can keep the overall cartridge length under 2.120â so it will fit in the cylinder of the SuperMag without having to seat and crimp into the ogive . Perhaps a WFN-GC ?
If jacketed , Iâm not concerned where the cannelure is located because Iâve got the Corbin cannelure tool and Iâm able to swage an additional groove anywhere along the bearing surface of the bullet . If it is cast  , I donât care how many or where the cannelures are located because I can set the bullet up in a 5C collet / lathe and with a Kaiser ThinBit turn another groove wherever I need to .
SAECO has a mold # 35399 ( 200 gr FP ) that appears to have 2 cannelures and Lyman has mold #2660430 ( 195 gr RN ) .
Anyone have any experience with these bullets from these molds loaded in the 357 Maximum ?
Anyone aware of hard cast bullets already made with this geometry where I can buy them already to load ?
Thank you in advance .
