Is anyone useing the 180 spire point for deer and/or bear? I am the proud new owner of a DW model 40 8" and was given 60+ rounds of ammo loaded with this bullet. I understand it was a favorite of the ram shooters but not sure it will be effective for hunting. I'm concerned about expansion at 357 max. velocities from a rifle bullet. What is your experience and/or thoughts.
