I finally got a chance to get to the range and shoot it. I found out that the rear sight has been dialed down or bottomed out for so long the two spring that supply tension to the sight are shot. I swear on my tax return this sight looks Exactly like my Ruger security Six's rear sight. If so shouldn't the springs from the Ruger work as a replacement?

I am fairly sure the rear sight from a blackhawk will fit a Dan. I would "assume" the securityÂ six is the same. I also assume springs could be found many places. Good luck.
