This is one of the (in my opinion) one would have in their handgun collection. The XSE is a dream to shoot as it becomes an extension of your arm an respectable groups at 15 yards. I is a "Hartfield Horsey" and just screams proven class for most of a century. Many different variations but the Springfield "US" version was on back order and Impact guns had this blued beauty in stock. I'm glad I jumped on it, In one year it  Jumped from $850 to $950 and you are put on a waiting period. I had to have one good 1911 and I'm happy.

Regards,

Very nice! A really great 1911 spoils you pretty quickly, doesn't it?

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

That is the same impression I have of my DW 1911. It's a rather unique feeling.Range Time
