Apparently they think that putting hearts and butterflies on the new stamp will make most people not realize that the rest is Arabic and probably not something we want to support.
It's in honor of som Muslim holiday. This was reportedly created as a result of a directive by Obama. As much as I dislike him and would like that to be true, unfortunately it isn't.
BTW, are there stamps for Easter and Passover? I don't know, but I kind of resent this one. While by and large Muslim people are good people, there have been too many terrorist attacks world-wide by Muslim Extremeists for this to be acceptable.Â

This comes from a "create your own postage" website that is licensed by the USPS, this is not a USPS design. I guess it's an extension of that whole Free Speech thing that the extremists hate us for, so it's pretty ironic, I guess.

...there has never been a US stamp with a Native American on it....Hollyweird types and now comic strip characters...just my 2 cents...
