OfflinePLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS:
Last Friday (October 9) ATF issued an open letter to FFL's and the public with guidance regarding applicability of NFA requirements on Suppressors, and Short-Barreled Rifles/Shotguns. In short, registering, and applying for approval for manufacturing or transfer of Suppressors or SBR's is no longer required. No more $200 Tax stamp is required (it was eliminated with legislation this past year), no more fingerprints, applications, or wait times. No more engraving to make an SBR. If you live in a state with no state or local laws conflicting with Federal Law, you're good to go just like any other firearm (Form 4473 and background check). If you live in a communist state which governs suppressors and SBR's at the state and local level, this ruling by ATF does not relieve you from following the state or local laws.
This is all new and fresh off the press.

OfflineSpeaking of SBR's, a little eye candy. Top two AR's shown for comparison.
Colt SP1 ca. 1984 .223 20 inch
Colt M4 5.56 16 inch
H&R replica Colt 607 (either 607 or xm177 I think) 5.56 10 inch
Tactical Life 300 Blackout take down 11.5 inch
and finally
PSA 9mm 4 inch pinned and welded .
Good day to live in Florida
P.S., thank goodness those pistol braces are gone. I've never seen them used as intended.

I can tell you. You do not want to fire the 740. It's like getting punched in the face!
The next prototypes will have a longer stocks.
Are you gonna do both or just the polymer? (i hate to say plastic, it sounds cheap)

Polymer. Large Frame poly stocks have not been advanced into prototypes.
At the time that SBRs were taboo, there was no wood stockmakers in the USA that would "officially" attempt the work. The pictured wood stock cost was beyond reason, and is not available.
Thus the polymer route.....3D printed. Will be the only prototypes until the the design is perfected
This is a back-burner project at the moment.
