Just introducing myself to the forum. Â Picked up a used Model 14 or 14-1 off gunbroker (when I get it from the local dealer I will diagnose better). Â Came with a 4" barrel but would like to try and pick up a 6". Â Had been thinking about a GP100, but was able to get this for half the price of a new Ruger (so even if I over paid I still saved myself money). Â My history with Dan's comes from my father, he has an old 15-2, probably from the 80's if I had to guess (I know his doesn't have the pork chop shroud). Â Waiting on the state to finish my paperwork so I can go pick it up, but that's how NJ is.

Welcome! Â We now have an adaptor for the pork chops so as to use the later shrouds! Â So look this place over and show us that Dan when you have it in hand! Â Â (EWK carries the adapter, works perfect)

Saw the EWK adapter, if I have a hard time finding a six inch barrel (has a 4" with some bluing issues) I might go that route, as well as getting one of their barrel wrenches (and possibly sight blades, will have to come on here and attempt to figure out the correct ones).
