OfflineI just picked up a Dan Wesson 357 Magnum Model 15-2VH (I think) with an 8" barrel and went out to the range and was thrilled at how well the weapon fires. I was a little nervous, it was minted in the 70s (as the SN would indicate) and taken care of pretty well by the original owner but you never know . . .
I shoot left handed (I lost my right arm) and am going to start researching left handed grips to see if there might be something that provides a natural thumb rest on that side - anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for including me in the forum, pics will come along soon

to the fourm from PA! Contact LB Custom grips, he is a member here (lbruce) and maker of the FINEST grips available for the Dan Wesson revolvers. Talk with him about what you are looking for and I'm sure he will be able to design and build you exactly what you need, and out of some of the most beautiful woods available.
Stick around here and you'll need more grips to fit all the Dan's you'll want
.
Boet, have no worries about the integrety of your dan wesson. They are one of the strongest revolvers ever made. I haven't seen any thumb rest grips around but you might be able to modify a large target grip. Lb Grips on rhe right margin could probably make you one when his backlog clears up. I am a lefty and many finger groove grips have a right hand bias. Some of the combat/ Michigan models seem ambidextrous. welcome to the Forum.
