I just found this site! What a great place to share info about our DW's. I have a model 715 with 4 & 8" barrels. This thing eats everything I put down the pipe and puts them where I aim it. My friends always get excited when they see my groups at the range. I Love This Gun!

8VH stands for:
8- 8 inch barrel
V- vented top of barrel
H-heavy or "full underlug"

michiganmarty- Welcome to DWF, whereabouts in SE Michigan? I'm originally from Farmington Hills, and bought my first gun (DW 15-2) from Dunhams Sporting Goods in Pontiac 33 years ago.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
