Finally took the plunge!  Have been a NRA handgun metallic silhouette shooter and used a S&W model 29 and did quite well. Always wanted to shoot 22 LR revolver, but settled for an iron sight and scoped contender to shoot 22 LR.

Had always wanted one of the best production revolvers, but at the time could not afford one. Have now taken the plunge and purchased a pair of 8" 22 LR and 32 H&R Mag. DW revolvers. Looking forward to receiving them, and seeing what type of accuracy is possible with these.

Eventually plan on scoping these, but for now it will be iron sights.

Glad I finally took the plunge!

Welcome to the forum from PA!  If you've been shooting steel, you will LOVE how the Dan Wesson's perform.  Post some pics of your new guns and a range report when you have time.  Feel free to ask any questions you have, the knowledge base here can answer pretty much anything.

That's an interesting caliber combo for a new DW revolver owner to begin with, not to say that it's a bad thing! Congrats on your recent acquisitions, we're looking forward to hearing how you like them.range-time

A double plunge!  Welcome.  I'm supposing the .32 is for Field Pistol or Practical Hunter short?

Field Pistol

The barrel configuration is the V8, however the 22 has a VH8 barrel, which believe can be interchanged (shroud)?

Also have a 44 Mag VH8 barrel sitting here, waiting for the right buy on a 44 Mag revolver

Wow, you jumped right in. The 22 is very accurate, but so is a S+W K-22. The 44 you will love when you get it. Yes, you can use the 22 VH shroud on the 32 mag. See if you can find a 10"V BA. The extra sight radius helps and the V Shroud is lighter than the 8VH. IMHO.

Welcome to the dwf from another PA member.  I think you'll really like that .32 when you get to firing it.  Keep us posted on range results!
