I recently bought a Dan Wesson 357 Magnum CTG. second hand. Don't know year, or model could anyone help me out? On the side its has "Dan Wesson Arms, Monson Mass".

That appears to be a Model 14-1 with a Pachmayr Gripper grip. It was built early to mid 1970's, the grip would have been a later addition

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Value is really subjective. In the end it's the amount your're willing to pay. But not to dodge the question, if it's in good shape and original 450-500. If there is some wear and tear start subtracting a bit. Looks like it's in good shape though, have you had a chance to shoot it?

I think $350 is a good price if it's in very nice condition which it looks like it is. I would say $450 tops, the older Dans with fixed sights usually do not bring high prices. Although the Gripper grips go like crazy these days on Ebay, $100 or more at times. These are all just my opinions of course.
