Hi All,
Jim here, in SW Louisiana. I joined the Forum about 4 years ago, and had some very enjoyable discussion with a few members regarding hog hunting with a DW .44. Thanks to all who responded to my posts way back then! I regret to say that I still have not made a hunting trip with my DW, and haven't done much hunting at all in the last 4 years due to work & family considerations.
I have also been very remiss in checking into the Forum! This is my first time logged on in 3+ years, so I figured I'd reintroduce myself.
I have recently gotten a really bad itch for a DW 1911, and with a fat performance bonus expected from work in a few weeks, I'm shopping hard! I've browsed available offerings, and although I've considered just about every style out there, I think I've pretty well settled on getting a full-sized Valor in black. I already have a couple of compact 1911's (a Combat Commander and a SIG C3), and would like my next one to be a full-size. I will be posting a "WTB" in the Classifieds, but if anyone has any suggestions for a good source, please let me know.

Well, fellows, it looks like I'm officially (almost) a DW Pistol AND Revolver guy now!
Just placed an order for my new Valor! It shows "In Stock", and IMHO, I got a heckuva deal!

Well, fellows,
I've again let WAY too much time go by without checking in! My DWAS has been in pretty high gear for the last few years, though, so I intend to be on here a lot more!
I just acquired my newest/oldest DW yesterday at a gun show, and a friend on another forum suggested it was time for a family portrait. I posted there, but then thought, what better place to post the pic than the DW Forum! So, here's the DW 'family' here to date:
The two M44's (1981-Vintage) are at the top, followed by two M15-2's, the M14, and the new old D-11. The 1911's at the bottom are the Valor, Valkyrie, and ECO. As always, my photography stinks!
