OfflineHowdy, good to find this forum, I'm hoping I can fill in the gaps in my knowledge. I've been a DW shooter over 20 years and they've always been my go-to when I really needed a hole in something.
I have one 357 with the exposed barrel nut (only one I've ever seen) and I wonder if anyone has any info on it. I look forward to reading more here and maybe meeting some of you online, thank you

 sasquatch to the
. Glad you joined the group here. I personally do not own a "Pork Chop" model, which it sounds like you own. There are several resident folks here that are experts on the "Pork" however, I am sure they will speak up to help you out.Â

OfflineMmmm! Â Pork! Â As Harly said, Dave_KS is the pork meister. Â (Does that sound bad?) Â I've got only a 14-1, the barrel nut is recessed but still pork. Â Dave is the real expert and will correct me if I'm wrong but with the exposed nut that would be a model 12 (adjustable sights) or model 11 (fixed sights). Â Please post some pics. Â We'd love to see it. Â

Do you own other Dan's? Â What are those?

OfflineThanks for the help folks, I'll have to dig it out of the safe and check it out again. I tend to favor a 6" 15vh, I had one for about 20 years and 30,000 rounds til I gave it to my son last year. I ended up buying another just like it this year, I was starting to wonder if I really liked him that well. I have a couple .22s, 2-44s, and 3 or 4 357s, I missed a chance to pick up a 45 last year when I was working in another state and didn't have an FFL to call on at home. Still want a 45. thank you
