Hi all,
I purchased my DW Elite Carry Officer in July and am already loving it!... I need more of them lol. Â I have been shooting for over 20 years now, but mostly in the military.... So I have only recently begun to actually enjoy the fun of shooting in the real world.
I will probably buy another 1911 and I would also like to purchase my first revolver, which would of course be a DW.

Welcome to the forum. The ECO is a fine 1911 but now you must get yourself a revolver, I agree. Much more fun than the M9 but not quite as much fun as the M240B.

Thanks for the welcome. Â I am not really a 240 guy lol... But thaws active duty when the Army first started the switch from the M60s to the M240s back in 1994 or 1995. Â I remember the MGs were truly thrilled to get the 240s. Â They were feeding the bandoliers through it with the belts on purpose just because the guns would shoot right through them lol. Â Easily amused!

WAY OFF TOPIC (hey, it's me), several years ago in a phone conversation with my son, he started out with "you'll never guess what I just swapped for".
He was stationed on USCGC Aquidneck in the Persian Gulf, and had just traded some stuff for a bunch of barrels for his M2's. Barrels were new, unfired in packaging dated 1944!!!
He is easily amused by anything full auto, and his new job offers him a LOT of amusement
