Just stumbled across this site looking up information on Dan Wessons. I am the new owner of a First Issue 414 Super Mag. It is the 7414 Stainless model with a 10" barrel.
Information I have found on this site so far has been excellant and much apprecated.

to the club. You have a real gem there, not many 414's exist. I believe the above posts stated we NEED pics of the jewel you have. A range report would be in order to once you get a chance to shoot it.

I can't believe that your first Dan is the one I'm missing. It's incredibly rare; 25 made in Palmer and 100-125 made in Norwich, if I'm not mistaken. Others will correct me if I am.
Yours would be a Norwich gune. I can't wait to see your pics and read a range report.
