Thanks for joining and posting a photo of your DW. In case you did not already know this, your 15-2 was manufactured in (probably) 1994

Welcome from Pennsylvania!  That is a very nice looking gun!  Gold series seem more popular in Europe than here in the US, wonder why?

The 7 prefix denotes a stainless gun. 15-2 is blue 715 is stainless.ÂÂ
I love the slotted heavy shrowd, Quite uncommon. I believe the proper model number for your revolver in it's current configeration would be. Model 715 VH6S gold series. If I mis-spoke someone will be along to square us away shortly.

Very nice. I have read the Gold Series was marketed mostly in Europe to compete with Pythons, Korth, and Manurhin. They are very uncommon in the United States. Does yours have the typical brushed finish?  The blue ones have a polish that is second to none.ÂÂ
