Welcome to DWF! Portions of LA were on my marathon/straight-thru drive from Galveston, TX-Hartford, CT a couple of years ago. I was actually awake for the LA part, it was beautiful country. I got to just watch thru the passenger window and see gators sunning themselves.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
