I am trying real hard to identify the Dan Wesson 357 for my friend.  The barrel is 4" long, the rear sight is not adjustable, the grip does not have a logo on it.  I'm guessing its a Model 15 or 15-2.  Looks like an early model from Monson with all numeric serial number.  Thats all i can tell from the info on this site.

I'm trying to add images but I get errors if I drag/drop and when I try to select, they dont seem to stick.  so I'm adding a link, hope thats ok.

I would appreciate any information about identifying the model.   Thank you.

Looks like a "Standard" style shroud, without Vented Rib or Heavy Underlug.

Checkered Walnut Target grip without medallions.

... that's about it.

Ole Dog is right yet again (how does he do it). Looks exactly like my 14-2, grips and all. I know some early grips didn't have medallions.

If you tell me something it goes in and out of my brain but if I read it it tends to remain forever . If it is something I am interested in . My good buddy Hugelk has a real photographic memory though. I think a lot of Forum folk know what I know but don't have the time or inclination to post.
