Offline715-2   the serial number is one i have not seen before with the slash! did you get any other goodies for ir or with it?Â

the S/ 00     S should/could be for stainless as well as the 7 of 715. If iam wrong someone will very soon correct me

As DWA stated, your serial number is unusual. The "S" is for stainless, although the s/n of that era is usually roll marked as "SD"...(S= stainless D= model 15) meaning model 715. This is the second time I've seen one like yours.
It seems as though when they first started making the stainless guns, DW was a little conflicted as to how to go about handling the s/n issue. One member even has a 715 with no letters in his s/n.
