Hi guys new to this site. Â Just wanted a little more info and maybe some value on my dw. This gun has been in my family for at least 25 years . Never been shot.

Clint welcome to the forum. You have a real beauty. You can check Gunbroker for ideas of value. My personal opinion is that if it is indeed unfires and immaculate, $1200-1500. Although if you try selling it at a loval gunshop they would probably try to offer half that

Thanks. Â Definitely not selling it. Â It was given to me when my old man passed 15 years ago. Â Just never seen many dw around. Â Is this very common to find one all together and not fired.

No it's not real common to find such a clean, original, unfired 15-2 Pack. Your dilemma now is "Shoot/Don't Shoot"!
I would always lean in the direction of "Shoot", BUT I have discovered that I am only really happy with the 4VH B/A's. The longer barrels don't mean much to me.Â
OTOH, this is a legacy item, and I understand you wanting to keep it in the Family. Good news here is, you win no matter how you decide.

That is a great looking vent heavy pack. Uncommon for sure and getting scarcer. Lonwolf is right but with a good write-up amd lots of high quality pictures it would be the higher number IMHO. I feel that your pack and Dan Wessons in general are very undervalued. My advise is to buy a used one to have fun with and pass on  the legacy. Maybe buy two or three more.

It crossed my mind to fire off a round or two in his honor.  But I figured he would roll over in his grave if I did. Lol. That was his baby. So im  gonna leave it un fired. I got plenty of other guns to shoot.Â
