Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I was recently shopping for a new 1911 and my gun dealer showed me about 1/2 dozen makes and models. THe second to the last one he showed me was an Ed Brown Kobra Carry. The Brown had a much better feel than anything. Then he showed me a Dan Wesson CBOB.

Now I have very expensive tastes, and the CBOB was in every way up to the standards of the Ed Brown except the trigger was better !

Now I know this is a personal preference and don't want to offend any EB fans, but the quality feel of this piece coming this close to the Brown totally took me by surprise. So here I am at this forum hoping someone will tell me it's for real. Then you can help me figure out how to convince my wife we need one.
