It has 2 4 inch barrels and a 6 inch. Blueing is pretty good. Not sure what its worth? S/N 33888. Not sure whenit was made? Any help would be great!

This is a Model 15-1 made around 1974. It was the last version of the pork chop, and basically has the innards of what would become the 15-2. It appears to be in very nice condition, and with three barrels would be a great addition to a any DW collection. These are great shooters! I have a 6" that is probably my most accurate revolver. If you want to let go of one of the 4" barrel assemblies separately let me know. Or, you might be able to trade someone a 4" for a 2" to make a complete set; 2",4" and 6" and possibly create your own pistol pack. As to value, some other members would have to chime in.

Porkchops have risen in value lately but they are still considered the ugly stepchild. I happen to like them. I think they are perhaps more accurate than the later models. Perhaps the short hammer throw of the 12 and 15, 11 and 14 are the reason. Maybe because the shroud is located by a dimple on the crane instead of a roll pin. Probably though it is in my imagination. What I really like is the ease of removing the cylinder for cleaning.

To answer you question about value, the model 15 goes higher than a 14 but still less than a 15-2. Perhaps 425 to 525 depending on condition, tool, box etc. A pistol pack of 3 barrel lengths may top 1000 if it still has the walnut grip blank.
