Internal cleaning/lubrication is a different matter, with a variety of Topics here, as well as almost any shooting sports site.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Just go easy with the Flitz - another member recently took the bluing off with it and it ended up going for a reblue.

Assuming the bluing hasn't been damaged, or started to haze, the best thing I've found so far for bringing out the shine in my blued guns is this stuff, after each post range day cleaning.

Use a super soft rag for best results, nothing with any abrasiveness.
