I just found out my local Sheriff's Dept had it's periodic confiscated weapons destruction day and many nice firearms were destroyed and sent off to an out of county recycle facility. After the fact( Too late for a rescue attempt)I was told by a witness, that included in the list of the condemed was a model 15-2 with a 15 inch barrel.
 
 I am not sure whether to cry, be mad, or both.

Man, that is a sad day indeed. And a 15" barrel, no less? That's just sick-n-wrong, someone needs some sense
into them big time!

I just don't understand why they do that instead of auctioning them off to law abiding citizens!
